Wentworth Garden Centre, Great Britain

Exciting water playground for young and old

The Wentworth Garden Centre in the idyllic town of Rotherham in Yorkshire County is one of the most beautiful parks and gardens in the Midlands. A generous green space was created over thirty years ago on 6.5 hectares of land, which is famous above all for its Japanese Garden. Over time, the park has been expanded with all kinds of tourist attractions to draw young and old alike. An exciting water playground outfitted with playground equipment from Timberplay and Richter (co-operatively) was added to the Wentworth Garden Centre only this year.

Experiencing the element of water in a new way

The Playground Pump, which is connected to several Channels, allows you to experience the element of water in a completely new way. With the Turn Gate and Flap, the Water Switch and the Bar Gate, the flowing water can be dammed and redirected; at the Mushroom Spring it can be sprayed and refreshingly distributed, and at the mud table the connection of sand and water promotes different role-playing games and tactile sensory experiences.

Generous sand area to increase the play value

In addition to the water area, the new playground also has a generous sand area, which is equipped with a Building Site and a Sand Platform with Crane and Sand Tipper. Here, small and big children can simulate the working world of adults, transport sand, climb and experience height or simply sit on the Building Site dangling their legs and chat.
