Michael Lehner
Designer and art teacher
He studied Art Education, Geman Studies and then Industrial Design in Braunschweig and Berlin and worked as a freelance and employed product designer for various companies. In addition to his work as a designer, he also teaches fine arts and handicrafts at the Waldorf School.
When designing, Michael Lehner is looking for as little unambiguity as possible and strives to rethink and expand conventional ideas. This is how the Wobbly Sheep was created, an object that can also represent another animal and can be both a plaything and a seat for young and old riders. The wobbly animals that later joined the product family are also rather abstract body shapes that are never clearly intended to represent a specific animal and leave plenty of room for the imagination of those playing with them.
