Play stations for developing the senses are both play equipment and sculptures.  - Wolfram Graubner

This means that their aesthetic appearance is just as important as their play idea and technical functions. The play stations, with their versatile linking points such as sound, colour, symmetry, vibrations, flow or swirling, have been developed in such a way that all the senses a person uses in their daily life come into play.

The focus is on the big, wonderful phenomena of nature and its principles. The way in which the player can independently initiate the action and make it their own makes them into true experiences
, says Wolfram Graubner.

Born in Kitzingen am Main in 1953, Wolfram Graubner trained in craftsmanship and industrial wood processing in the family business and at wood working technical schools in Rosenheim and Bad Wildungen.

He studied psychology and philosophy in Berlin and Frankfurt from 1974 to 1977.
In 1978 he founded a woodworking business and, in a very close cooperation with Hugo Kükelhaus, developed and constructed the “play stations for the developing the senses”. These are manufactured and sold by the Richter Spielgeräte company in Frasdorf today.

Wolfram Graubner today works as a freelance consultant and planner.
