The Swinging Table is a closed hollowbody suspended on chains. It invites oneto sit down without immediately revealingits “secret”. Only after sitting down,one recognizes a peculiar swinging of thetable. One can feel the movement of thewater inside the table which reacts in resonanceto one’s own movement. There isan interplay between the perception andaction of the people and the response ofthe water. It is great fun to experiencethe unexpected movements of the tabletogether with others.
