The Whirligig is very attractive to small children, due to its friendly appearance and child-sized dimensions. Only a small amount of force is enough to start the Whirligig turning around, with or without a guest. If a passenger is on the foot support ring, they can influence the turning speed by shifting their centre of gravity. Children can hold on to the arms or collar very well and turn around together with the Whirligig. This carousel provides the opportunity of exploring the laws of centrifugal force in a playful manner.
