Spielplatz Kiekeberg, Hamburg/Germany

In the so-called "Land of Ideas 2010" this playground was one of the most important stations on the water adventure trail of the open-air museum Kiekeberg. Here the children learn in a playful way about water pressure, whirlpools and other physical phenomena. Not least thanks to the generous seating area for parents with a view of the entire playground, the atmosphere at this location is particularly relaxed. The children here playfully grasp the importance of water for their home region, and thus learn to appreciate this element, whose unlimited availability cannot be taken for granted.
