Extraordinary themed play world

26 meter long playable hull

The attractive children's playground on New Holland Island was realised by the renowned architectural office West 8 in close cooperation with Richter Spielgeräte GmbH. The "shipyard" theme of the play world is reflected in a large play ship, which was deliberately left in an unfinished state and thus offers particularly exciting play opportunities. The ship, which is modelled on the frigate "Pieter en Paul", was equipped in accordance with the traditions of the Russian shipbuilders and, with a length of 26 metres and a height of 6 metres, is an attraction visible from afar. The interior of the hull is divided into several levels and play areas. Both young and old can feel like real adventurers here, using a variety of ropes and cannons, telescope and steering wheel, and immerse themselves in the history of the island and its founder, Peter the Great. A covered area, especially designed for parents and directly adjacent to the ship, completes the play offer.
