Parc Reduta Krakow/Poland
A generously designed playground
Play and discovery for older children and young people
Reduta Park, located in Pradnik Czerwony, covers an area of almost eight hectares. The character of the park was co-designed by local residents during consultation workshops conducted by the Office of Urban Greenery.
In the park, 300 trees, 8 000 shrubs, 131 fruit trees, almost 900 fruit bushes, over 2 000 climbers and 35 000 perennials were planted. More than 25 000 square metres of lawns and flower meadows were planted. Reduta Park is the only park of its kind that is co-designed by local residents.
The spacious playground encourages play and discovery, especially for older children and young people, with a partner swing, climbing structures and a climbing forest. The sound branches and the echo game as sensory elements also fascinate adult visitors and the smallest ones can rest in the nest cradle or roll back and forth merrily in the wobble tub.
